Product Review – DRY Sparkling Beverages

I have two vices – chocolate and pop.  I’m pretty good with the chocolate because there are lots of healthier options out there and I can make lots of goodies that satisfy my chocolate cravings at home.  Pop, is another story.  I have tried to make some homemade versions without much luck.

Last year, when I was on a work trip in Saskatchewan, I discovered the DRY Sparking brand.  Their products are available across Canada, but it was the first time that I had heard of them.  They have simple and natural ingredients that you can feel good about.  The flavours are interesting too!  For example, they have Vanilla Bean, Lavender, Cucumber, Rhubarb, Ginger, Rainer Cherry, Fuji Apple, and Blood Orange. I have tried most of them and love them all.   If you haven’t tried them, I highly suggest you do! They even have holiday flavours in large bottles, which are perfect for a party, but I haven’t seen them in Canada yet.

I don’t drink coffee, tea, or juice, so I don’t really want to give up my pop because otherwise I only have water.  I’m also not a huge fan of warm beverages.  What are your favourite beverages?  Do you know of a tasty natural soda? Has anyone had great success making their own sparkling drink?  I have a Soda Stream, but it is not quite the same.
